My mother's computer is fixed! Mine still has to be sent back but now this means it's just going to be me and the brother splitting this one, which means a loooot more opportunity to get on. YAY.

Tonight is for fucking around and bed soon. Tomorrow is Yuletide and powering through most of the editing stuff left. After that I will try to catch up on aaaall the missed days on the December meme.

Added! I thought I had one on my sticky post, so I am going to add it there. My fandoms tend to expand every time I pick up something new, so I think it just kept getting out of date.

I love MCU so I'll add a few more ...

"Crack Treated Seriously" -- one of my favorites is the fuck-or-die explored in terms of what would really happen, i.e. it would tend to impair or destroy relationships. I've written an original poem on these lines but would love to see this motif in MCU because pretty much any of the popular fanpairings would be disastrous.

"Tension" -- the internal turmoil created when Steve finds out just how badly his friend Howard mistreated Tony, and why Tony is so touchy about Captain America stuff.

"Introvert" -- it drives Bruce nuts that no matter how much he tries to communicate that he really wants to be left alone, nobody ever believes him, and then they blame him when he runs out of patience and things go horribly wrong.

"Shapeshifting" -- everyone thinks that Bruce is the core or real personality and Hulk is the other, but they've got it backwards. Hulk is the one who deals with all the serious shit that Bruce can't, not just the people trying to murder them but also their past and memories and feelings. Bruce is the one who keeps breaking House Rule #1 for multiples (don't damage or kill the common body). So that's what creates the misery factor in shifting when Bruce doesn't let go willingly: it's like trying to pry a howling teenager out of the driver's seat without anyone getting hurt in the process.

"Last Times / Farewells" -- Loki throws people out of his life to preempt them doing the same to him. And Tony recognizes this, because he does the exact same thing. Awwwwkward.

"Secret Identity" -- no matter how many times Black Widow gets photographed, nobody ever seems to recognize the superspy when she goes undercover. Because they're never looking at her face, and that's something she can use against them.

"Androids and Robots" -- Tony loves his botfamily. This is a problem because Pepper hates Iron Man, resents the workshop, and tends to flip out over the bots as well as the suits. I'd like to see Tony articulate to her that his bots are family, not just toys.
