Talking about blogging and thinking about stuff.

I want to start writing things down. Keeping track of things so that I can look back and see what’s been going on mentally, because everything has blurred together really badly lately. And some things I just want notes on as I do them. So here is a list of journals I need making. I’m not sure how most of them are going to be; some might be private, either paper or on my computer, but some I’m thinking of making either Dreamwidths or tumblrs. Not sure if anyone has any interest in following along, but some of them I wouldn't mind having out there? Feel free to tell me if you think you'd have interest in following any, if you read below the cut.

*Mental health diary. This will probably be private, or if not, on DW with limited access, so that people I trust can poke me if I forget things. It’ll be a day-to-day that, if nothing else, will have a defined scale to mark mood/anxiety level down on. I have trouble remembering if/when the depression’s cleared, and I get tongue-tied and freeze in regards to my symptoms when I talk to doctors. Writing it down constantly might help, if just so that I have a record to show.

*Reviews! I’ve been wanting to keep track of my initial response to things for a while now. This will probably be public somewhere because I see no good reason for it to not be?

*Religion! I’m thinking I’m going to try rededication (not formal, just mental) come Samhain and start searching for my pantheon and figuring out how to practice as an adult again. It will probably have a lot of identity stuff in general, since some of that is tied into religion for me, but mostly it’ll be about witchcraft and practice. Not sure if I want this public, private, or public but not widely spread — if you’d have any interest in reading about it, let me know?

*OTHER STUFF. I feel like I’m missing things I’ve considered, I just don’t know what. Maybe a writing blog, I’ve been considering that for a while to put things down in, but other than that I don’t know?

I would be tremendously interested in the religion side of things if you do end up sharing it.

Re: mental health, I found that doing something similar worked very well for me, so best of luck to you. :)

I'm always up for religion nerding.

I'm trying to get in the habit of doing goodreads reviews when I finish things or give up on them. I'm also going to start doing Wednesday Reading posts and maybe something complimentary about what I've written during the week to track...

Tracking is good. Other people who are tracking is also good.

The religion material would be excellent to look at and comment upon, even though I'm not much of a practitioner of anything...

IDK if you have a device that lets you use apps, but I personally have found Breathe2Relax and T2 Mood Tracker to be REALLY helpful apps insofar as mental illness goes. The first one has a noticable effect on calming my anxiety and the other is a really helpful mood tracker.

Anyway, I would love to read the reviews and religion ones as well! Reviews to me is basically "things what I should read" and I love hearing what other people have to hear about it. Plus, my practice is... heh, not as good as it could be. It would be a good read, anyway.
