Writing meme.
As I spend tonight attempting to jolt myself into a wordbrain.
Give me titles to fics I've never written and I will write you at least three sentences of that fic.
Current main fandoms: Welcome to Night Vale, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Firefly, Newsflesh, October Daye, Practical Magic, the Devil's Carnival, Sherlock BBC, tenatively Hannibal, and original fiction.
I'm willing to try other things you know I know, though, and a fuller list is here if you feel like poking it.

Of course, in the Avengers universe, I was really looking forward to that fic you never wrote about the time Bruce and Tony... oh, well, I don't want to give it away. I think that was called Biochemical Engineering for obvious reasons. (I think what I liked most about that story was that, all too often it's like, oh if two people are that close they're obviously romantically involved, but this showed that isn't always true, you know?)

If You Want to Break Free
She also knows, though she hasn't seen her in so long that the woman herself is only a faint memory, where her aunt has made her home. Even for family, help from the Luidaeg will not be cheap; but there's no price higher than the one she'll have to pay if her father finds her.

Ouch ouch. ♥
Hannibal Lecter's Cookbook of the Apocalypse: Somehow this did not end up crack.
Biochemical Engineering: I think I don't know enough science to figure out a plot to this fic.
This, though -- the shouted questions over too-loud music and stealing sips of each other's drink and someone peeking over his shoulder -- this he hasn't had in a while. Ever, if he's honest, and it's not just because Tony Stark's lab is not quite like anyone else's lab; he's had friends, even friends at work, but never this level of easy camaraderie before.
Everything Will Be All Right: A Lullaby in Three Parts [Hannibal]
Color theory says that green is the color of healing, and hospitals and doctors are a starch, stark white. But green just makes her think of the trees her dad taught her how to climb, long before the first girl gone missing, and hospital white hurts her eyes.
No, healing is a rainbow of its own, grounded in browns. The soft brownish-white of dough under her fingers, the rhythm of four hands working together. The weird purple-brown of organs and the sticky red-brown of sauce and blood as she learns how to make food fancy, how to make a meal that looks like it came out of a cookbook, not some fifties homemaker throwback. The brown-grey of concrete under the rising sun, instead of grass and wood and leaves.
The Stories We Say and the Truths We Dare Not Speak [Newsflesh]
This is probably not what you were looking for. [Practical Magic/Sherlock]
The problem is, when Mummy decides to make a trip to visit, she always drags Aunt Sally along with her. And that means that Antonia remembers her littlest cousin is living only an hour away and comes to visit. And if everyone else is going to be there, it's guaranteed Kylie will show up twenty-four hours later, whether or not anyone's actually remembered to inform her of what's happening. And Antonia may or may not bring her children, and Kylie is bound to bring her girlfriend, and one time out of three -- which is one time too many -- the Aunts decide that clearly, what this gathering needs is more Owens women crowded into his flat.
And, well, the end result is, a family reunion is underway in his kitchen before Sherlock gets a chance to explain to John why his mother and aunt showing up is not a cause for celebration.

One Night Together
Tea Time At The Coffeehouse And Other Mistakes [Welcome to Night Vale] -- Yeah, I don't know.
"But it's a coffeehouse. I didn't even know they served tea."
"Everyone serves tea at tea time." Cecil's voice is grave enough that Carlos knows what's coming even before he finishes, "It's a law."
"Right." Carlos bites his tongue and very carefully doesn't hit the steering wheel, because Night Vale laws are occasionally terrifying but generally fascinating, and stumbling into a new one is usually about as interesting as a scientific discovery, but not when it means he has to explain to the team why he's not coming in with coffee. "When does tea time end?"
"Oh, it's hard to say. It c--"
And whatever Cecil's about to say is probably both very interesting and very important, but Carlos has a lab full of tired scientists, so he cuts him off anyway. "Cecil. Can I buy a coffee maker during tea time?"

I was fully expecting crack, but that's actually awesomely creepy.
