As I spend tonight attempting to jolt myself into a wordbrain.

Give me titles to fics I've never written and I will write you at least three sentences of that fic.

Current main fandoms: Welcome to Night Vale, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Firefly, Newsflesh, October Daye, Practical Magic, the Devil's Carnival, Sherlock BBC, tenatively Hannibal, and original fiction.

I admit that one of the fics you've never written, to my knowledge, that I've always wanted to read was One Night Together, the story where Kaylee Frye is alone on Serenity, making some repairs after a particularly trying job, and really dives into the relationship the two have with one another. (Kaylee x Serenity OTP ;)

Of course, in the Avengers universe, I was really looking forward to that fic you never wrote about the time Bruce and Tony... oh, well, I don't want to give it away. I think that was called Biochemical Engineering for obvious reasons. (I think what I liked most about that story was that, all too often it's like, oh if two people are that close they're obviously romantically involved, but this showed that isn't always true, you know?)

Biochemical Engineering: I think I don't know enough science to figure out a plot to this fic.

He doesn't realize he visibly perks up until Tony grins. "You like this song? JARVIS, make it louder." And it's already loud enough to feel like an assault, but somehow it doesn't actually bother him; Bruce just laughs, leaning back in his chair and letting the music vibrate through him, waking him up. Too-late nights and too-long days and finding ways to startle yourself awake aren't exactly new to him, even if he usually has slightly more healthy routines than Tony Stark (but everyone has more healthy routines than Tony Stark).

This, though -- the shouted questions over too-loud music and stealing sips of each other's drink and someone peeking over his shoulder -- this he hasn't had in a while. Ever, if he's honest, and it's not just because Tony Stark's lab is not quite like anyone else's lab; he's had friends, even friends at work, but never this level of easy camaraderie before.

One Night Together

Sometimes she even hears it in her dreams, talking back to her, not with wires and whirs and the engine's hum, but in a voice all her own. Serenity doesn't sound like anybody Kaylee's ever known, at least not that she can remember. She just sounds like Serenity, and when Kaylee puts the voice in her dreams and her girl together, she can't imagine anyone else sounding the same.
