This is probably not what you were looking for. [Practical Magic/Sherlock]

It wouldn't, Sherlock reflects as he lies on his couch, ignoring the whir of the blender and the cheerful chatter in the kitchen as hard as he can, be as bad if it was just Mummy. His mother is... strange, yes; and occasionally points out that she's not sure how the fun gene got bred out of him and his brother, but that it clearly did. But he loves his mother, despite the fact that she never quite seemed to understand him, or his choice in career, or his way of life (and, to be fair, she understands Mycroft even less, really).

The problem is, when Mummy decides to make a trip to visit, she always drags Aunt Sally along with her. And that means that Antonia remembers her littlest cousin is living only an hour away and comes to visit. And if everyone else is going to be there, it's guaranteed Kylie will show up twenty-four hours later, whether or not anyone's actually remembered to inform her of what's happening. And Antonia may or may not bring her children, and Kylie is bound to bring her girlfriend, and one time out of three -- which is one time too many -- the Aunts decide that clearly, what this gathering needs is more Owens women crowded into his flat.

And, well, the end result is, a family reunion is underway in his kitchen before Sherlock gets a chance to explain to John why his mother and aunt showing up is not a cause for celebration.
