hi, I'm alive. I don't have much else to say, so here's something else.

I got a [community profile] longfic_bingo card. This was possibly dumb, as 5k and over stories are really rare for me. Seriously, there is one on my Ao3 and it's about four years old at least. But I want to try and write longer things, so. We'll see.

Card under the cut. Throw me prompts or squares you'd like to see me do, if you want. Fandoms here. Original also counts so throw me that too if you've got it.

Also I screwed with the table. I didn't like the background. I currently don't like the lack of borders but too tired and too unaware of HTML to fix. ETA: I snagged the genprompt bingo table and keyed my prompts in. Because I like borders. So that's fixed.

Historical event changed Unexpected ally Fusion - any Secret identity Roleplaying
Crossover / Fusion – TV series Amnesia Holiday Coffee shop Hypothermia
Hazing Homelessness Wild Card Band!fic In Space
Addiction Fantasy world Matchmaking Office/workplace Military
Pretend relationship Toys Torture War Pining

Notes and potentials:
Band!fic would be an excuse to do more in the space for you always in my harmony verse.
Fantasy world may be spun for the Cecil/Carlos breakup fic that I can no longer entirely see writing canonically but still want out of my head.
Alternately, fantasy world, pining, secret identity, or unexpected ally could all be spun for the Tom's-fan-turns-into-a-wizard YW fic I always wanted to write.
Homelessness, unexpected ally, maybe fantasy world for the tiny!Luna Toby Daye fic I want.

I can send you the code for my tables from origi-fic bingo and replace the prompts with your prompts, if you like? It gives you borders without any background.

Also, I'm really, really glad you're alive. *hugs*

Hello! Glad to see you're still alive.

Sounds like an interesting bingo challenge, too. I'm good at longfic. I might go take a look myself.

Yeah, I really love the prompt list, it's a good mix of AU, h/c, and kink prompts, which suits me just fine. :D Particularly because I am often writing longfic for other bingos, so I won't feel so bad about writing a 45k fill for a single square for this one. XD

I've already got my trope bingo card, and I'll be signing up for kink bingo, and probably h/c bingo as well, so I can use those cards for my shorter fill ideas, and concentrate on using up all my longfic ideas, particularly because the challenge is open-ended. And everything ends up nicely balanced.

Woo, bingos! *hugs them all* I won't sign up for them all, though. I know my limits. XD

But organising things is so much fun! :D :D :D

Yeah, well, I don't do it all the time, but well, it helps when you have someone who's willing to angst and grieve and pine and Not Move On for years because their crush ~disappeared~ and it's just ~terrible~ and his wife left him with a baby and he's Just Not Coping being gay and single and and and. ...I got a lot of value out of that fic, oh yeah. XD

I had to practice for years to get this good at longfic though. I used to think 10k was SUCH A LONG FIC OMG. So there's hope for you yet! :D

I'd never get anything done if I signed up for them all. XD

Hee. Yes, some things are more fun to organise than others. Such is life, I guess. Writing is always fun to organise, though, even if occasionally frustrating. XD

Yeah, I love it. There was. So. Much. Angst. XD Well, you could try drafting on paper then before you type it up? Maybe it'd help you get back into the swing of writing longer stories again?
