Writing memes, a three-for-one deal!
Jun. 11th, 2012 05:00 pmSo I really, really need to write. Badly. To that end, have writing memes, stolen from the old journal. Prompt one, prompt all, prompt a little, prompt a lot; tonight and the rest of the week I will do my best to answer any prompts I get and jolt my brain back to a wordy place.
A. Comment with two characters (and optionally a prompt word), and I'll tell you about their first kiss in a drabble.
B. Everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves something, and has lost something.
Give me a name and I will tell you what that person is afraid of, loves, and has lost.
C. Give me the title of a story I've never written and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.
Fandoms: Cabin Pressure, Chess, Firefly, Harry Potter, Newsflesh (no Blackout spoilers), Sanctuary (Five-centric or S1), Sherlock (BBC), Sports Night, White Collar. Anything original or related to someone on my character list is also fair game. If you know of something else I'm familiar with not listed, give it a shot, but these are the only ones I promise enough familiarity with/a recent enough dip into to do properly.
