See, everyone I know who read it got fannish about it? But the people I know who read it is a sad, small number. And a lot of them RP it more than anything else. Which, granted, I am into and love too, and is an awesome kind of fandom, but.

Yes, well, this happened last night. XD If you're interested in spreading the word, that'd be awesome.

She is very good at destroying your heart while she makes you love her. I still cry when I read parts of Newsflesh, even though I've read them repeatedly -- I actually just made the mistake of reading San Diego 2014 on the bus the other night. I read it on the bus the first time too. I should stop making that mistake. Anyway, tangent passed, I think Seanan is well worth favorite author status. She's definitely one of mine (I can't pick one. I'm indecisive. XD), as well as one of my favorite singrssongwriters.

(Fair enough. XD I feel this way about A Local Habitation to be honest. I know it's not a general favorite, and apparently a lot of people complained about how seperate from the overarching plot it seemed? But I love it so much for every tiny detail about Tamed Lightning and the added bonus of Toby and Quentin bonding that I can't be objective about whether it's an unnecessary detour or anything, because Tamed Lightning guys.)

Oh, honey, I understand entirely. I have pretty severe anxiety problems. I talk about it sometimes, and it gets the better of me a lot more often. Brains are awful things and I'm in the habit of apologizing to people in their place.
