A To-Do List + updateish
Still at the parents and all is still pretty much well. My mother is doing better, my face is doing better, and we're still going to Disney at the end of the month! Which is awesome, I think EVERYONE in this house needs the break.
And now a pre-Disney to-do list, feel free to either read along and poke me about things or ignore at will.
Doctors:
- FUCKING PILLS, SERIOUSLY. Call about the letter (again) in the next couple of days and if I have to, go down there and find out why it's taking so long. I want to have them before I go. Preferably for long enough to figure out if there's gonna be side effects I need to be careful of while running around and going on rides (nausea/sleepiness/I don't know what else), if possible.
- Go in for labs on the 20th. My doctor sees me on the 30th and I need them about a week in advance.
Writing:
- Jukebox Fest: I need to have it in by the 21st, because we leave on the 22nd. So I'm gonna try and get it done by the 12th so that I can get it beta'd in time. Treats may happen if I manage to get it done before then, but my assignment is priority, I'm not even looking at the list till that's done.
- Rainbow Fic: I'd like to get at least a few more things done before I go. Maybe I can finish a list even? It's a dream okay.
- I'd like to be narrowing down my NaNo choices by the time I get back from Disney so I'm gonna start brainstorming ideas this month.
Other:
- Getting back in the habit of walking/maybe running if I can get my music back on the stepfather's iPod. I did it a little bit, I'd like to be a little more used to it by the time we're walking around theme parks all day.
- Get some practice in handling my mother's wheelchair so that I can do it fairly smoothly at Disney.
- Goodwill/Salvation Army to see if I can piece together a costume for Disney. Most likely going to be either Belle in the blue dress or Tinkerbell, because I can probably find a close-enough dress there.
- Find time to get up to Tampa before we leave. Need to spend a few days by Mal and see if I can at least drop by Beth to give her back her book.
- Get anything I want to read on my downtime in Orlando on the Kindle/iPod by the 20th or so, because we're gonna have at least one whole day of downtime.
